Thanksgiving
the American International School
One of the biggest family holidays in America is Thanksgiving.
Traditionally, Native North American Tribes celebrated the harvest for several days. After teaching the Pilgrims how to plant and harvest native North American foods like corn, the Natives shared their harvest celebration with their new Pilgrim friends. It is a time of hope and fellowship and in America…Football.
Every year, the Parent Volunteer Group traditionally holds a Thanksgiving lunch the Wednesday before Thanksgiving.
In 2004, all students, faculty, staff, and parent volunteers gathered in the hall for our own American International School Thanksgiving Feast followed by Thanksgiving inspired skits and songs.
