Our role is to stay focused on nurturing and growing the unique strengths of the American International School. The uniqueness of AIS is built on the foundation of the six Cs that characterize the school and enable it to provide a true international experience, right here in Sydney.

We enable the competent and committed faculty to fulfill the mission of the school – this mission includes creating an international learning environment on a platform of a very high and challenging level of academic excellence.

It is also our role to benchmark the academic standards of the school and to ensure, that these are above par, compared to the best in Australia and globally.

We are an eclectic team of parents drawn from different parts of the school. This team mirrors the strengths of the school – diversity and international orientation. Through pro-active governance, we are able to partner with the world class faculty in building this unique experience of AIS.
